Energy and the Clean Air Act

February 20, 2014

Energy and the Clean Air ActImportant to remember that one day all these climate change and air quality regulatory arguments will largely be moot.  It won’t be tomorrow . . . but it will be some tomorrow.

Most of the world’s air pollution is related to energy use and production.  Energy just keeps getting cleaner, more efficient, and more abundant.  It  has to (see “The Terrawatt Challenge”).   An inevitability that most of the Clean Air Act therefore eventually won’t be needed.  Isn’t this wonderful!

What a great future we are headed toward!

—“Progress lies not in enhancing what is, but in advancing toward what will be.”—Kahlil Gibran

The world is changing.  We must change with it.  Time to transform the SIP process.  We can make it happen.
